The Hundred Jams War allowed skaters of all levels to join in and play. Excitement, nervousness and fear ran through my body leading up to the event.
Excitement. Because it was to be my first bout. Because I wanted to play. Because it was new and different.
Nervousness. Because I constantly questioned my ability to perform. Because I knew both the public and wenches would be watching. Because of the unknown.
Fear. Because I didn’t want to fail or let the team down. Because I didn’t want to look stupid. Because I thought I was not ready.
